The following is a summary of the events of last week
Monday, March 19 we met Peter Vitale, a consultant in marketing and communications agency Marchethink. In the presence of Dr. Frinchillucci ded, it was a close working relationship between the Polar Museum and the agency. The first meeting will be Wednesday, April 4 the next morning with a press conference on the presentation of the draft Charter of Arctic peoples, particularly of "The Changing Climate." The conference is included in the calendar of the CEA, Ecology Environment Committee (if I remember correctly). The occasion will be inclined to present the new group "Nanuk" Polar Institute and the next shipment. Tuesday, March 20
Marco and I by Dr. Frinchillucci Raccichini we were to set up a promotional brochure of "The Charter of Arctic peoples" of eight pages. Mark and I are working to be ready and printed later this week. The brochure will serve as a support for the submission of exhibits, educational activities, workshops and projects. The immediate goal is starting to visit the elementary and middle schools in the Province of Fermo, Macerata and Ascoli Piceno.
Wednesday, March 21, Dr. Frinchillucci issued un'inervista Lolita Falconi, journalist of the Corriere Adriatico. Presentation of the museum, shipments, preparation of the next Svalbland, the constitution of Nanuk Team. The article was published Sunday, March 25 in a comprehensive service with full-page color photo in the "Sunday" page. 4.
Also on the morning of March 21 Dr. Frinchillucci visited the adjacent elementary school in Viale Trento Fermo to present a workshop "A Nenec a Friend". The school director has been very interested and will participate in the initiative.
Monday, March 26 - Mark and I have completed the 8-page brochure. It is now being printed. The visual impact of the editorial work is really strong. The borchure, clear to read and well illustrated, it will be an excellent means of promoting the Polar Museum, and the Charter of the IPY Arctic peoples. The work will be published this autumn for a book on the diaries of "Silvio Zavatti" and present it in the next Congress to be held in the International Polar stopped between November and December 2007.
