"I offer my suffering for the family, the Migrantes, for all our brothers and sisters of human mobility." These were the last words that Msgr. Piergiorgio Saviola - appointed by the CEI Director General during the last months of illness and enforced absence from Migrantes Don Luigi - gathered at the bedside of his mouth in pain. These few words say it clear the testimony of the human and Christian virtues offered throughout his life, but until the time of his death. 
All who knew him as a man of strong temperament, strong character, and sometimes even impetuous, but of profound honesty and proper human relations, so he took positions even when motivated but still, was always ready to listen with full respect for the interlocutor and always willing to reconsider its position.
